Come Celebrate Spanish Mass on Sunday September 17th at 12:30 PM at St. Laurence O’Toole! Father Dan Gonzalez will celebrate Mass, and there will be a gathering in the basement of church immediately following Mass, with food provided by Andale Rapido.
St. Laurence O'Toole is starting up a young adult group: The Frassati Group! This group will meet every Wednesday at 6:30pm, starting August 30th, to build faith and friendships! A meal will be provided. For more information, please contact the parish office, or notice the posters in the vestibules at church!
The St. Laurence O'Toole Council of Catholic Women is starting up again! All women of the parish are invited to join! We will be having a welcome luncheon on Friday September 15th at noon in the youth house. If you are unable to make it to the luncheon, please call the parish office for more information!
Tuesday August 15th is the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and is a Holy Day of Obligation. Masses here at St. Laurence O'Toole will be celebrated at 8:00am and 5:30pm.
We are always in need of more adorers of the Blessed Sacrament on Mondays and Tuesdays! We are especially looking for someone to share either the 9:30 to 10:30 am shift on Tuesdays or, if a full hour isn’t possible, to share the 9:30 to 10 am shift on Tuesdays. If you are interested in this, or any other adoration hour, please contact the Parish Office.
There will be a combined Adoration hour with St. Paul's Newman Center on Thursday July 27th at 6:30pm at St. Laurence O'Toole Church! The Adoration hour will include contemplative silence interspersed with meditative music provided by the St. Florian Choir in Collaboration with the musicians from St. Paul's. There will also be light snacks provided after the Adoration hour in the basement compliments of the Friends of St. Florian!
It's not too late to pick up a Baby Bottle from one of the vestibules at church and fill it with spare change, or other monetary donations for Heart 2 Heart pregnancy center. The baby bottles will be collected the weekend of June 24th.
This Sunday, June 11th, there will be an Hour of Eucharistic Adoration and Benediction at the church from 3pm to 4pm in honor of the Feast of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, (Corpus Christi). Everyone is warmly encouraged to spend an hour with Our Lord!
The Friends of St. Florian are serving breakfast this Sunday, June 11th, after the 8:00am and 10:30am Masses! Please join us for a delicious meal of scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, sausage, and pancakes free of charge!
Please pick up a Baby Bottle at one of the entrances and take it home. Over the next two weeks, please fill it with spare change, bills, or other monetary donation, to donate to Heart 2 Heart Pregnancy Center. Heart 2 Heart provides free services for pregnant women in our community, especially those in need. We will collect the bottles on the weekend of June 24th and 25th!
